ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are indicated for vision correction. Eye problems, including corneal ulcers, can develop. Some wearers may experience mild irritation, itching or discomfort. Lenses should not be prescribed if patients have any eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems. Consult the package insert for complete information. Complete information is also available from VISTAKON®, Division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., by calling 1-800-843-2020 or by visiting acuvueprofessional.com.

† Helps protect against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. WARNING: UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed. NOTE: Long-term exposure to UV radiation is one of the risk factors associated with cataracts. Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude, geography, cloud cover) and personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders.

Technologies

BLINK STABILIZED™ Lens Design

Our BLINK STABILIZED™ Design allows quick fit and stable vision for astigmatic patients. This technology harnesses the natural power of a blinking eye on four stabilization zones to provide clear and stable vision all day. Lenses with our BLINK STABILIZED™ Design provide the widest parameter coverage, covering 98% of spherical and astigmatic eyes.1

LACREON® Technology

Designed for patients prone to dryness and irritation, this exclusive technology uses the locked-in wetting agent PVP to create a long-lasting cushion of moisture. LACREON® Technology also helps keep irritation out. It attracts and helps maintain lysozyme in its natural state and has been shown in vitro to maintain low levels of inflammatory biomarkers.*1,2

*Based on in vitro data; clinical studies have not been done directly linking differences in lysozyme profile with specific clinical benefits.

UV blocker

1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST® Brand for ASTIGMATISM helps protect the covered portions of the eye by blocking on average 82% UV-A and 97% UV-B radiation from the sun.

Why are we replacing UPP?

We are discontinuing UPP in order to renew and continue our commitment to advocate for the doctor-patient relationship and against legislation that threatens to deregulate the industry and undermine patient health.

We introduced UPP in 2014, and today a majority of patients are paying less for their ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses than two years ago. Since 2014, there have also been significant legal and legislative challenges to UPP across the country that are distracting our focus on emerging issues that could lead to deregulation of contact lenses. Proponents of deregulation advocate for harmful policies, such as online prescribing of contact lenses and extending contact lens prescription expiration limits. Opposing these efforts requires our undivided attention.

Our new ACUVUE® Rewards Program replaces UPP and provides similar benefits—affordability, access, and patient retention.
